PINK TULIP PROJECT - OCT 31, 2006

Did you know that in the state of Maine, many volunteers planted tulip bulbs in public gardens during the month of October, as seeds of hope for breast cancer awareness? Middle School of the Kennebunks is proud to have participated in this project.
In support of our own Laurie Ellis, and the Maine Cancer Foundation, we planted 700 pink tulips on our front lawn to raise money for cancer research. All monies raised went directly to the Maine Cancer Foundation .
Thank you to all who helped make this event the success it was!
Sincerely, the staff of MSK!
